Civil Engineering is one of the most prominent and popular forms of engineering. Many people in developed countries, developing countries, and less developed countries have focused on the widespread use of Civil Engineering.
The sector has assisted the world in building tangible infrastructure and has been creating wages and employment opportunities in both the public and private sectors.
The diploma in the CTEVT engineering program is designed to produce a middle-class staff equipped with knowledge and skills related to the field of Civil Engineering to meet the need of those people in the country to contribute nationally to economic development in Nepal. Currently, 108 colleges in Nepal offer a Diploma in Civil Engineering program with more than 1804 students enrolled annually.
Objectives:
Provide qualified professionals in the field of civil engineerings such as State Roads Engineering, Irrigation, Water Supply, Urban Development, and Building and other departments and sectors related to public infrastructure development;

Important Features:
Duration: The total duration of this curriculum is three years. Each year has two semesters of six months each. In addition, one semester consists of 19.5 study weeks including the examination period. The actual teaching and learning hours will not be less than 15 weeks per semester.
Target Group: The target group for this program will be all interested persons who have passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) in English, Science, and Mathematics or the School Leaving Certificate (TSLC).
Group size: The group size will be 48 (Forty-eight) in the range. 8. Designated area: The target area will be throughout Nepal.
Moderate Teaching: The learning style will be in English and/or Nepali.
Attendance pattern: A minimum of 90% attendance in each subject is required to appear in the final examination.

Upon completion of this course, the student will gain knowledge by drawing, evaluating, evaluating, and directing various social engineering tasks. The Diploma in Civil Engineering course is based on the work required by Civil Engineering Technicians (Civil Overseer) at various levels of public and private sector infrastructure related to Nepal's engineering-related development.
There are six semesters in total over a three-year period.
